More Music is a music and education charity based at the Hothouse in Morecambe, with over 20 years of experience delivering workshops, training, performances and festivals across the district, region and beyond. More Music seeks to build confidence and spirit in individuals and communities through the arts, especially music.
We are one of the longest running and most highly regarded community music and education organisations in the UK. Our work focuses on creativity and inclusion, providing opportunities to everyone to express themselves musically, regardless of age or ability. We have many years experience of delivering music workshops in primary, secondary and SEND settings and play a strategic role as a key partner in Lancashire Music Hub. During termtime, we run a regular weekly programme of music sessions at the Hothouse for all ages and abilities.
We can provide one-off workshops, residences, teacher training and performances in school from our Chinese Long Walk Orchestra and Baybeat Carnival Streetband. Our workshops include singing, songwriting, band making, Chinese music, samba, music production, beatboxing and more.
