    With over a dozen events, ranging from massive concerts at King Georges Hall to street performances in Blackburn town centre, this Festival of Voice celebrates the amazing musical talent in the area. There is also a summer programme of "Live in the Library" singing within secondary schools in Blackburn with Darwen
  • First Soundtracks band night a massive success

    On 24th February, our FIRST Soundtracks bank night was a massive success with over 50 young people turning up to listen to and encourage our young bands. The bands, which have all developed through Soundtracks, had the opportunity to perform in front of their peer group and showcase their skills.

    Four new Heartbeat Drumming ensembles are now being run by Blackburn with Darwen Music Service for young people across the borough.

    Children from five Blackburn with Darwen Primary Schools will be singing at King George's Hall on Sunday 16th October in a unique celebration of the bicentenary of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
